SCHOOL OPERATIONS MANAGER 

The Opportunity:  Reporting directly to the School Principal, as the School Operations Manager/ Student Enrollment Coordinator, you will plan, implement, and maintain maximum operational efficiency for the successful functioning of our school. You must be flexible and adaptable while embracing innovation and continuous improvement. You will own the enrollment process to meet 100% of campus enrollment goals. This process includes but is not limited to, fostering local interest, managing the first year of school enrollment, and monitoring student and family persistence. In addition, you will raise awareness of your respective schools, promote the campus(es) that you support and available grades, secure applicants, and nurture families through the persistence pipeline.

You will also be responsible for the operational excellence of all non-academic school functions across the school, including facilities management, safety and security, school finances, [staff and scholar] technology, and events management.     

Location: Kids Care Elementary, Columbus, OH 

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or 3-8 years of experience working in a K-12 setting
  • Experience managing small teams or multiple large projects
  • Strong project management skills, ability to juggle multiple and competing priorities, and attention to detail
  • Experience using Excel and/or Google Sheets to analyze large amounts of data and perform quantitative analysis
  • Demonstrated passion for and commitment to Phalen Leadership Academy
  • Facilities and building maintenance experience are highly preferred
