On-Call Sub Bus Driver
Location: 17175 Olympia Redford, MI 48240
The Opportunity: PLA Bus Drivers are responsible for transporting students to and from designated pick-up and drop-off points
The Details:
Key Deliverables:
- Pick up and drop off passengers at designated locations
- Follow assigned bus routes
- Provide a safe transportation environment for all students
- Arrive 30 minutes before route time
- Perform daily inspection of the bus
- Follow procedures to ensure passenger safety
- Keep the vehicle clean and presentable
- Weekly fueling of bus
- Maintain awareness of unsafe conditions and avoid injury
- Generally works 25-30 hours a week
- Other duties as assigned
Experience and Education Requirements:
- High school diploma preferred or GED
- CDL license and yellow card, required
- No at-fault traffic accidents in the last 5 years
- Clean driving record (no traffic citations in the last 5 years)
- Ability to carry out assigned routes on time
