Regional Workforce Enrollment Coordinator (Part-Time)
The Opportunity:
Phalen Leadership Academies (PLA) seeks an exceptional Regional Workforce Enrollment Coordinator to drive Greater Boston student recruitment and enrollment efforts. This role requires a results-driven professional with demonstrated sales expertise, a strategic approach to territory management, and a strong ability to overcome objections while generating and converting leads.
The ideal candidate will have deep community connections, outstanding presentation and communication skills, and a passion for engaging families, schools, and workforce development partners to expand educational access. The Location & Working Conditions:
This part-time position includes a combination of remote and in-person responsibilities.
- Candidates must be located in the Greater Boston area and can travel as needed.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Expertise: Proven track record of success in sales, focusing on overcoming objections and closing deals. Ability to effectively articulate the value proposition of Skilled US and address concerns raised by prospective adult students.
- Territory Management: Proficient in territory management strategies, including identifying key communities, allocating resources effectively, and developing action plans to maximize enrollment opportunities in targeted areas.
- Lead Generation: Implement innovative lead generation techniques to identify and cultivate prospective students. Utilize various channels, including digital marketing, community outreach, onsite events, and referral programs, to generate leads and increase enrollment prospects.
- Strong Regional Connections: Established network and connections within the Greater Boston region, including educational institutions, community organizations, and key stakeholders. Leverage these relationships to enhance brand visibility, foster partnerships, and generate enrollment leads.
- Community Engagement: Actively engage with local communities to build relationships, raise awareness, and promote Skilled US as the preferred choice for quality vocational training. Organize and participate in community events, information sessions, and outreach activities to connect with prospective students and families.
- Presentation and Communication: Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to deliver compelling and persuasive presentations to various audiences. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for effectively conveying the benefits of enrolling in Skilled US and addressing inquiries from prospective candidates.
- Data-Driven Approach: Utilize data analysis and market research to identify enrollment assess competition and inform strategic decision-making. Track and analyze lead metrics to measure progress and optimize enrollment strategies for maximum effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Education, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in sales, enrollment management, or a related field, preferably within the vocational education sector.
- Performance: Proven track record of success in meeting or exceeding sales/enrollment targets.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to build rapport, establish meaningful connections, and engage diverse communities.
- Industry Knowledge:
- Familiarity with state and federal funding sources such as WIOA and SNAP E&T
- Understanding of Massachusetts's educational policies, enrollment procedures, and market trends
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Mobility: Ability to travel within the region, including Boston, Greater Boston, Cambridge, and surrounding areas.
